Complete our online induction form at harrisonbarratt.com.au/induction. You'll need your White Card, trade licences, ID, emergency contact, and bank details. The form takes about 15 minutes. Once approved by our team, you'll get portal access and be eligible for shift offers.

How much do landscapers get paid through HBG?

Pay rates for landscapers range from $35–65/hr depending on your trade classification, experience level, and the specific site. All rates comply with the Building and Construction General On-site Award. Overtime, penalty rates, and allowances are paid on top. You're paid weekly via direct deposit.

What entitlements do I get as a labour hire Landscaper?

As an HBG employee, you receive all legal entitlements: superannuation (11.5%), workers compensation insurance, annual leave, personal/carer's leave, and public holiday rates. We also provide PPE, site-specific inductions, and a dedicated coordinator.

Can I choose which sites I work on?

Yes — you can accept or decline individual shift offers via SMS or through your candidate portal. You set your availability, preferred locations, and maximum travel distance. Our coordinators match you with sites that fit your preferences.

How quickly can I start getting shifts?

Once your induction is approved (typically 1–2 business days), you're eligible for immediate placement. Many landscapers receive their first shift offer within the same week of completing induction.
